The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has decided to host the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying
match between current African champions Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone in Nigeria
due to the deadly Ebola virus.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF)
has ordered nations affected by the Ebola scourge, Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra
Leone, to use alternative venues for their home matches.
The Group 1
matches, according to the NFF, would be played at either Teslim Balogun
Stadium, Lagos, or the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, on September
6.
